09/24 Weekly Announcements

Announcements
SMALL SECTIONALS FOR UYPHIL AND UYSO
Dates: October 10  for UYPhil and October 11 fro UYSO. That means we have AMAZING coaches for each instrument coming to work with your section on an individual basis.
WOODWINDS/BRASS/PERCUSSION, please check your schedules and let us know if you’ll be absent on October 10 or 11. We need to be respectful of our coaches’ time. It’s embarrassing if they show up and nobody is there for them to coach.

PRELUDE ORCHESTRA
Your first rehearsal is this Saturday! We will meet from 9:00-10:30 at the Fine Arts West building.
The address is 274 S. University Street. Enter through the east doors (facing University St), down the stairs. The room is what used to be the chapel on the right.
Dan Rich is our conductor and he will be there to meet you.
I (Marty) will join you for the parent meeting immediately after rehearsal. It shouldn’t last too long and is very informal!

9/19/2025

UYPhil Rehearsal is from 5:00-6:30 only for those who are participating in Trudy’s memorial service.

UYSO rehearsal and UYPrelude rehearsal are cancelled due to the memorial service for Trudy Simmons.

We would love to encourage all students to participate!
